We are please to announce that Nick Barratt will be our guest speaker at this years Bucks FHS Open Day. Nick is well known for his contributions to "Who Do You Think You Are" on BBC television, "Tracing Your Roots" on BBC Radio 4 and "Hidden House Histories" on the History Channel. The event will be held on Saturday 26th July at The Grange School in Aylesbury. |

 The 2008 Open Day will be held at The Grange School, Wendover Way, Aylesbury on Saturday 26th July from 10am to 4pm. The Society holds an Open Day each year at which most of the Society's databases, libraries, books and publications are available.

 The new catalogue for the Parish Registers Library is now available. Members who wish to download the PDF version should login to this website, www.bucksfhs.org.uk, and then go to the Parish Registers page via the Society Libraries menu. Please note, due to the increases of Royal Mail postage prices there has been an increase in the charges of the loans. This service is only available to members based in the UK.
